KIDS KITCHEN

The coolest place to eat at Camp Bestival was most definitely in the Kids Kitchen Tipi and it wasn’t just the under 10s who were queuing up for bangers & mash, fish fingers & chips and  macaroni cheese – mums & dads were refueling with their favourite comfort food too!

Developed especially for the 8,000 kids who regularly attend Camp Bestival with their Mums & Dads, Kids Kitchen offered the only place on site where parents could feed their little ones tasty, healthy home cooked grub to keep them going through the weekend. As well as hot lunches and dinners there was lots of fresh fruit, healthy lunch bags to take away, delicious hand-made cakes and freshly made popcorn, snacks and treats to keep the kids happy

Over the three days of the festival the Kids Kitchen open from 10am-9pm, was always busy and served an average of 500 hot meals per day and hundreds of packed lunch bags, which means we fed about 35% of the available 2-10 year olds on site. Not bad for our debut weekend!
